The world of advanced manufacturing and generative design is quickly making its way into the footwear industry. I’ve always loved the idea of being able to walk into a shoe store and be able to pick out a shoe made perfectly for my foot.
The Surea 1.0 is my take on a generatively designed shoe, optimized for a custom build.
The sneaker developemnt workflow really embodies many parts of the engineering design process as a whole.
Surea needed to go through every typical design iteration before it reached a final revision.
